Job Title: Assembly Technician (Full-Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. You will be responsible for assembling high-quality products by following detailed instructions, using a variety of tools, and working closely with your team to meet daily goals. No prior industry experience is required--just a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to producing excellent results.


General Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurately read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and written instructions to assemble products to exact standards.
  • Perform mechanical and manual assembly of components, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and secure fastening of parts and subassemblies.
  • Safely operate and maintain handheld and power tools used in the assembly process (wrenches, drills, torque tools, etc.).
  • Inspect components and completed assemblies to identify defects, inconsistencies, or quality concerns; report issues following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet or exceed daily assembly targets and maintain efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, adhering to all company safety guidelines and manufacturing best practices.
  • Follow basic English-language instructions relating to safety, work orders, and assembly steps (required).
  • Support cross-functional needs on the production floor, including packaging, materials handling, and general labor tasks when needed.
  • Demonstrate reliable and consistent attendance, punctuality, and readiness to work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong visual acuity, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to differentiate colors.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse environments (preferred but not required).

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
  • Occasional need to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl based on assembly requirements.
  • Comfortable working in a moderately loud manufacturing environment.
